Jessica Rhude
Office Manager, Insurance & Billing Specialist, Midwifery Assistant, and Childbirth Educator
She has been with BDM since 2018 in a variety of roles, from admin to birth assistant! While working in the office on the day to day, she is always available to answer any questions in regards to care, and client accounts. She also handles insurance & billing claims, she can be reached at:

Rhonda Hilliker, CNM
Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
After serving in the US Army, raising 2 sons, working 17 years as a Labor & Delivery RN, she felt called by God to become a CNM. She graduated from Frontier Nursing University with a passion for birthing outside the hospital. She has also been working as a missionary since 2008 in places such as Uganda, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Ghana, Guatemala, Thailand & Honduras!

Lauren Johnson, CNM
Certified Nurse Midwife
From a young age, she felt a deep calling to support women during one of life's most transformative moments childbirth. Her passion for natural, holistic birth work led her to pursue her Nurse Midwifery Certification at Georgetown University. As a military spouse and bonus mom to three incredible kids, she embraces the flexibility and adventure that come with her family's dynamic lifestyle qualities that also allow her to adapt and connect in her work. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, rock climbing, and traveling with her husband, as well as spending meaningful moments with her church and military community.

Athena McLaurin, EMT, LD
Administrative Assistant & Labor Doula
Athena joined the Bella Donna Midwifery team in early 2025, bringing with her a deep personal connection to birth as a homebirth mother. With her EMT certification and CAPPA doula training, she has become a versatile and valued member of the team. Whether she’s welcoming clients at the front desk or offering steadfast support in the birth space, Athena’s genuine enthusiasm and calm presence help set the tone for a positive, empowering experience.

Haelyn Holden, CLD, MWA
Midwife Assistant, Labor Certified Doula & Childbirth Educator
Haelyn started her doula journey through Stillbirthday in 2018 as a birth and bereavement doula in an effort to support others within the community. After her time in the military and college, she joined Bella Donna Midwifery. She is passionate about empowering others through physical, emotional and educational support throughout their pregnancy and delivery.

Keira Boros, CCMA
Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
Keira first joined BDM as part of her clinical training and quickly fell in love with the vibrant, supportive environment. Now, as a dedicated member of the team, she brings her passion for assisting others to ensure every experience at BDM is special and comforting. Outside of work, Keira enjoys spending time with her nephew and perusing her bachelors degree.

Hannah McLaurin, CLD
Certified Labor Doula & Bradley Instructor
Hannah McLaurin is a Certified Labor Doula, trained through DONA International in 2021, and a Certified Bradley Method® Instructor. Her passion for birth work was born out of her own transformative birth experiences — including both homebirths and hospital cesareans — and the invaluable support she received from her doulas during those times.
With a well-rounded and empathetic understanding of birth in various settings, Hannah brings a calm, informed presence to every family she serves. She is dedicated to helping families feel supported, educated, and empowered throughout their pregnancy and birth journeys.

Alison Hurd, RN IBCLC
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant & Registered Nurse
She started her nursing career in 2013 & fell in love with helping others successfully breastfeed. That love grew later when she was able to successfully breastfeed her own child. In 2017, she started the journey to become an IBCLC & worked in the hospital as lead lactation consultant until 2021. After a short break from work life, she took the opportunity to join the team of IBCLC's at Bella Donna.
