Meet The Team
After being an active duty soldier and facing over a dozen deployments, Vanessa became an RN and began working with Bella Donna Midwifery in January of 2019. She is CPR, ACLS, STABLE, and NRP certified.
Doula, & Lactation Counselor
Zach is a trained doula via Doulas of North America International (DONA) & started supporting families as a doula in 2016. In 2019, Zach also completed his WIC Peer Lactation Counseling course.
Chandler began working with Bella Donna Midwifery in 2020, training as a doula and midwifery assistant.
With extensive medical background and experience, Ashley began working in the Jacksonville location as a medical assistant while awaiting the arrival of her own sweet baby!
Midwifery Assistant, Doula, Class Instructor, and Placenta Master
Not only is she one of our birth assistants and doulas, but she is also an aspiring midwife. She likes to keep herself busy as a Nurse Aid II, as well as keeping up on her CPR and NRP certifications. She also spends her time instructing Birth2Baby classes on the weekends!
Jacksonville & Fayetteville
While handling the daily office tasks, she is also always available for any questions and concerns from clients. She is always reachable via the office phone, or email for anything you may need!
Midwifery Assistant, Doula, and Placenta Master
She first began working as a doula in 2014, followed by the opening of her own business, The Fayetteville Doulas, in 2016. Melissa then began at Bella Donna Midwifery in October of 2017 as a birth assistant. She fell in love with birth work after having an amazing home birth with her fourth baby following three great hospital births.
