Midwifery Assistant, Doula, and Placenta Master
She first began working as a doula in 2014, followed by the opening of her own business, The Fayetteville Doulas, in 2016. Melissa then began at Bella Donna Midwifery in October of 2017 as a birth assistant. She fell in love with birth work after having an amazing home birth with her fourth baby following three great hospital births.
After being an active duty soldier and facing over a dozen deployments, Vanessa became an RN and began working with Bella Donna Midwifery in January of 2019. She is CPR, ACLS, STABLE, and NRP certified.
Zach is a trained doula via Doulas of North America International (DONA) and has been supporting families as a doula since 2016. He’s currently pursuing a nursing degree while living with his family on a sailboat named “Minoh”.
She is a DONA International trained doula. She has also taken a course in lactation education resources. She is a military spouse and mother of one. She is from northern Virginia, and has lived in Jacksonville for a year and a half!
